EVESHAM, NJ, April 17, 2018
A national educational childcare chain has reached a lease agreement with RD Management LLC to occupy a large space at The Shoppes and Residences at Renaissance Square.
Children of America Marlton will lease a 10,000-square-foot indoor space, as well as an additional 4,000-square-foot outdoor play area at the mixed-use center, which is undergoing a $70 million redevelopment.
COA schools provide a safe and loving environment that promotes learning and child development in a daycare setting for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old and provide a secure, stimulating environment for young minds to grow and develop.
It currently has seven locations across the state including schools in Sicklerville, Clementon and Sewell, which offer infant, toddler, preschool, kindergarten, before/after school and summer camp programs.
“As a leader in early childhood education, Children of America brings a valuable component to The Shoppes and Residences at Renaissance Square,” said Richard Birdoff, principal and president of RD Management, in a news release.
“Educational uses in shopping centers are gaining in popularity, and we’re excited Children of America chose our location to service families in the Marlton community. As our redevelopment continues, we look forward to welcoming more quality tenants that will complement our current roster of businesses and hosting grand openings.”
Virtua Medical Group and TD Bank are current tenants at the center, located on Route 70 between Plymouth Drive and North Locust Avenue. It was also recently announced that Evesham Mortgage will occupy 12,753 square feet at the center. That company is currently right down the road in another shopping center.
“This modern office building at The Shoppes and Residences at Renaissance Square will enable Evesham Mortgage to enhance the southern New Jersey community’s access to quality mortgage products,” said Rick Brown, president and CEO of Evesham Mortgage, in a statement.
Dunkin’ Donuts, Gaetano’s Pizzeria & Cheesesteaks, Pink Petal Mani Pedi, Hair Cuttery, La Scala Italian Restaurant, and La Vez Mexican Restaurant will also join the redeveloped center, which will feature 338 luxury apartment units.
There will also be an open space park with jogging paths, walkways, and a pond at the front of the center.
