Children of America, Educational Childcare® Hosts It's 10th Annual Leadership Summit in New Jersey

Driving Success Through Recognition and Cultural Uniformity

Children of America® (COA), the nation’s leader in educational childcare, celebrated its 25th Anniversary during its 10th Annual Leadership Summit at the Westin Mount Laurel in New Jersey, March 31 – April 2, 2023. The all-inclusive development conference, offers the company an opportunity to focus on celebrating top leaders and innovators and to explore positive, authentic corporate culture solutions that yield measurable results for an inspired workplace.

The conference brings together local, regional, and national leaders and provides an occasion to create inclusive conversation in a diverse, interdependent workplace. The conference hosted over 150 company leaders.

Recipients honored at the event were:

The Founders Award was presented to Marvin Cox, who has served the company as an Executive Director for four years now. The Founders Award honors the Founder of the company Thad Pryor, a former world champion kick boxer, recipients have shown drive, and the spirit of a champion; hallmarks that have guided this company from inception.

The Shining Star Award was presented to Natasha Campbell, Ashley Ballman and Deborah Williams for those brightest STARS who shine for the benefit of others.

The COA Teacher of the Year Award for Those whose Inspiration inspires, the highest honor a teacher can receive in our company, was presented to Susan Jacobs.

The COA Campus Hero Award for outstanding performance, the ability to thrive and for valuing what's possible was presented to several of our top performing schools; Wilmington, DE., North Aurora, IL., Orland Park, IL., Avon, IN., East Brunswick, NJ., Jackson Heights, NJ., North Wales, PA. and Manassas, VA.

The Bentley Award COA’s Highest Honor for Exceptional Leadership & Performance in Educational Childcare, this award is the pinnacle of success for our School Managers, was awarded to Tiffany Clarke from our Lee's Hill, VA., location.

All recipients were presented with beautiful glass sculptures and received financial remuneration for their accomplishments. Congratulations to all of our nominees and award winners.
